Furama Resort Danang named winner at 2017 World Luxury Hotel Awards
Danang, Vietnam, December 2017 – Furama Resort Danang, the 5-star culinary beach resort in Vietnam, has scooped 2 winning trophies at the prestigious World Luxury Hotel Awards. The award ceremony took place earlier this month in St. Moritz in Switzerland.
Furama Resort Danang was announced as the winner in the Luxury Ocean View Resort and in addition, the Luxury Wedding Destination for its prime location as well as excellent services provided to guests.
Since 2006, the annual World Luxury Hotel Awards has served as the global recognition of hotels’ sustained commitment to excellence in hoteliering and outstanding achievement in the international luxury hospitality industry.
Conducted in a four-week period starting from the beginning of September, this year’s poll received some 300,000 votes from international travellers and leading tourism experts.
Furama Resort Danang is part of the Ariyana Tourism Complex, including Furama Resort, Furama Villas, the new Ariyana Beach Resort & Suites project, with more than 1000 apartments, and the Ariyana Convention Centre, where a week-long series of APEC meetings and related events was held earlier in November. Reputable as the best culinary beach resort in Vietnam and overlooking one of the six most gorgeous beaches in the world, Furama Danang comprises of 198 resort rooms and 56 two to four bedroom pool villas, featuring tasteful décor, designed with traditional Vietnamese style and a touch of French colonial architecture and Champa artefacts.

The recognition from World Luxury Hotel Awards came on the heels of the resort winning “Hot 25 Family Hotel in Asia 2017” by the notable Smart Travel Asia magazine and in addition, “The Guide Awards 2017” by The Guide magazine (Vietnam Economic Times) in which the award ceremony was held in Phu Quoc island on October 6th, recognizing outstanding achievements and contributions of enterprises, organizations, individuals and localities in Vietnam to the country’s tourism development. Moreover, Furama Resort Danang was also honoured as the Typical Enterprise of Danang by Danang People’s Committee in February 2017, thus affirming the brand name and sustainable development of Furama Resort Danang.
