South Korean travel retail powerhouse Lotte Duty Free today opened a new store in downtown Da Nang, Vietnam.
Located at VVMall in My Khe Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Vietnam, Lotte Duty Free’s Da Nang Downtown Store is a travel destination on its own hosting more than 200 brands of cosmetics, spirits, jewelery, watches and fashion alongside Asian shoppers’ favorite Korean brands like Cheong Kwan Jang, Sulwhasoo and The History of Whoo. It also features Vietnamese domestic products and souvenirs that are particularly loved by international travelers such as pearl, coffee and local food.
To celebrate the store opening, Lotte Duty Free is offering premium spa vouchers to customers who purchase over one US dollar at Da Nang Downtown Store until December.
Starting its business in Vietnam in 2017 with the Da Nang International Airport duty free operation, Lotte Duty Free opened two more stores in Vietnam – one at Cam Ranh International Airport in 2018 and another one at Noi Bai International Airport in 2019. Da Nang Downtown Store is its forth store in Vietnam, marking the country’s largest duty free store as it spans 2,000sqm. Lotte Duty Free has set a yearly sales target of over 50 billion won for the store once the Vietnamese tourism market returns to pre-COVID levels.
With the Da Nang Downtown Store opening, Lotte Duty Free now operates 20 duty free store across seven countries.
