On March 15, the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Steering Committee of Da Nang decided to choose Samgrand hotel at 7 Pham Van Dong street, Son Tra district to be a concentrated isolation area for foreign guests who belong to suspected group for quarantine.
This is to enhance control of the epidemic situation, and at the same time create conditions for guests to feel more secure and comfortable during the quarantine in the city. These foreigners will be isolated for 14 days and undergo health check and monitoring according to regulations.
According to the Danang Department of Health, the authority sector sampled 137 close contacts (F1) with 2 British patients with Covid-19 (patients 22nd and 23rd). The result was 136 samples negative for SARS-CoV-2; 1 positive sample was of a female employee at Dien May Xanh (patient 35th)
As regards those in close contact with Dien May Xanh female staff, the authority sampled a total of 107 cases, all of which were negative for SARS-CoV-2.
