According to the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the city welcomed an estimated 369,339 visitors in March, up 11.5% compared with the same period last year.
Within this figure, the number of foreigners rose by 15.9% to 122,362, whilst the number of domestic visitors climbed by 9.4% to 246,977. As a result, the city’s tourism sector earned an estimated 1,071 billion VND in revenue, an increase of 13.2% against the same period last year.
Between January and March, the city received 1,040,169 domestic and foreign visitors, up 19.6% compared with the same period last year and fulfilling 20.2% of the year’s target. This helped the city’s tourism sector to earn over 3,016 billion VND in revenue, up 17.5% against the same period last year and also fulfilling 20.2% of the year’s target.
