According to Official Letter No. 1440 / CV-BCD of March 20, 2020, the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control agreed a number of measures to prevent and control Covid-19. The National Steering Committee informed the provinces and cities to deploy the contents related to the quarantine and prevention of Covid-19 epidemic as following:
- Continue to implement Official Letter No. 1338 / CV-BCD on March 17, 2020 of the National Steering Committee on quaratine and sampling of Covid-19.
- Organize concentrated quaratine on entry for all passengers from all countries and territories from 0:00 on March 21, 2020.
- In case people on entry showing signs of fever, cough or shortness of breath, they shall be taken immediately to medical establishments for quarantine, treatment and sampling of Covid-19.
- In case an immigrant holding a diplomatic or official passport, if he/she has normal health, showing no signs of disease and is guaranteed by the representative agency to absolutely conduct the quarantine conditions, he/she may carry out quarantine at the representative office or place of residence until 14 days from the date of entry into Vietnam.
