The City People’s Committee in Da Nang is committed to elevating the tourism experience in Da Nang and attracting more visitors. To achieve this, they have approved a pilot plan to offer night-time tourism services at the iconic Nguyen Van Troi Bridge and East Bank Park from the first quarter of 2024 until the end of 2028.

Starting in 2024, visitors can expect to enjoy a range of exciting entertainment activities that will attract a large number of people. These activities include lighting check-in points, photo exhibitions, and displays of specialized products and works. There will also be traditional and lyrical music performances, street balls every weekend evening, flash mobs, festivals of activities/things like yoga, street art, reading, sports, beers, as well as contests of painting, chess, and much more.

Moreover, the area surrounding Nguyen Van Troi Bridge will offer walking tours, community activities, street music, events, ceremonies, and children’s games. To cater to the needs of local residents and visitors, there will be a variety of aesthetically designed food stalls, soft drinks, and souvenir products available.

Starting from 2025 and lasting until 2028, the city plans to promote night-time economic activities in the area. This will involve a range of exciting experiences, such as organizing street art performances (including portrait painting, magic shows, bubble displays, aerobics, street music, and mural decoration) on the park campus located on the east bank at the foot of Nguyen Van Troi bridge and Tran Hung Dao Street. Mobile business booths of OCOP products, souvenirs, books, fast food, and soft drinks will also be set up. Special events and festivals will also be held periodically on weekends, holidays, and Tet holidays.

The city is committed to implementing the pilot plan with a strong focus on renovating, upgrading, and beautifying the areas surrounding key landmarks such as the Nguyen Van Troi Bridge, Tran Thi Ly Bridge foot park, and Nguyen Van Troi Bridge East Bank Park. Through planting new trees, upgrading sidewalks, creating safety railings, supplementing lighting, arranging parking areas and public toilets, and installing surveillance cameras, the city aims to create a vibrant and safe environment for visitors to explore Danang at night. With various exciting activities and experiences, including street food and cultural attractions, visitors can immerse themselves in the city’s beauty and create unforgettable memories.
