On Tuesday, a ceremony took place at the Da Nang International Airport to welcome the 6-millionth air passenger to arrive in the city during 2015.
The lucky passenger was the Deputy General Director of the Truong Hai Auto Corporation, Mr Pham Van Tai from Quang Nam Province. He had travelled on Vietnam Airlines’ flight VN108 from Ho Chi Minh City.
According to the latest statistics released by the airport, the city is expecting to have served 6.7 million air passengers by the end of this year, up 34% against 2014.
