On December 24, 2024, the “Fun with Santa Gift-Giving” program will light up two vibrant locations: the northern landscape platform on the east side of Dragon Bridge (gift box model area) and the north landscape platform on the west side of Dragon Bridge (illuminated Christmas tree model area). This event will create a joyful and meaningful atmosphere for residents and visitors during the Danang Christmas and New Year Festival 2025 (Danang X’mas – New Year Festival 2025).
To craft a delightful Christmas Eve, the program will kick off at 6:00 PM on December 24, 2024, featuring various exciting and lively activities at both locations. Participants can look forward to nearly 2,000 attractive gifts, including charming Christmas tree miniatures, keychains, delicious dried chicken snacks, colorful balloons, vouchers for free Mi Quang (Trang Frog Kitchen), entry tickets to Nui Than Tai Hot Springs Park, calendars, water bottles, backpacks, fans, handbags, and Christmas-themed cookie packs. Santa Clauses will lovingly deliver these gifts, spreading warmth and joy throughout the festive season.
All the gifts, generously sponsored by Danang’s tourism businesses, are a thoughtful gesture that showcases their generosity during the holidays. Each gift carries a message of peace and represents an opportunity to promote Danang’s unique culture and services to visitors and locals alike. This initiative enriches festive experiences and reinforces Danang’s friendly and unforgettable image in the hearts of all who visit.
To receive gifts from Santa, residents and tourists must engage in a variety of fun activities such as instant photo “check-ins” with the hashtag “Christmas Gifts On the Spot,” dressing up as Santa, dancing to lively Christmas music, and more. The program will also distribute over 1,000 Christmas cookies and 300 balloons to children, creating joy and memorable experiences for the little ones during this holiday season. These gifts embody festive cheer, smiles, and happiness that will illuminate the entire city of Danang.
The Danang Christmas and New Year Festival 2025 officially began on December 20, 2024, with a spectacular performance by international artists from Sun World Ba Na Hills and a dynamic group dance by children to festive music. Following the opening ceremony, the Santa Parade infused a festive atmosphere into Bach Dang Walking Street, featuring Miss International 2024, Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy, a troupe of international artists from Sun World Ba Na Hills, and over 600 professional and semi-professional dancers dressed as Santa Claus, Snow Queens, and reindeer-themed decor. This parade truly brought the holiday spirit to life and touched the hearts of residents and tourists alike.
