The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026 has officially announced its theme, “Da Nang – United Horizons”, following a press meeting to review the draft organizational plan held on the afternoon of January 7, 2026, at the Da Nang City People’s Committee.
DIFF 2026 is scheduled to take place from May 30 to July 11, 2026, under the theme “Da Nang – United Horizons.” The festival conveys the image of a new Da Nang following the administrative merger of Da Nang City and Quang Nam Province, reflecting a destination that harmoniously blends nature with cultural, architectural, and tourism icons, while embracing a modern and connected spirit. The theme highlights Da Nang’s commitment to preserving its national identity, fostering cultural exchange, and confidently advancing in a new era of development.
Accordingly, the themes of the six competition nights will follow the narrative of Da Nang’s renewed development journey, marked by a new position, enhanced potential, and a forward-looking mindset. The competition nights are titled: Nature, Heritage, Culture, Creative, Vision, and United Horizons.
According to the draft plan, DIFF 2026 will feature 10 participating teams, including:
(1) Da Nang Fireworks Team – Vietnam;
(2) Z21 Vina Pyrotech – Vietnam;
(3) China – Jiangxi Yangfeng Art Fireworks Display Co., Ltd;
(4) Italy – Martarello Group S.R.L;
(5) Germany – Josef Steffes – Ollig Feuer Werk GmbH;
(6) Portugal – Macedos Pirotecnia Lda;
(7) France – Lux Factory POK 2.0;
(8) Japan – Tamaya Kitahara Fireworks Co., Ltd;
(9) Macau – Apple Pyrotechnics (Macau) Co., Ltd;
(10) Australia – Skylighter Fireworks.
Notably, DIFF 2026 will welcome four debut teams, promising fresh perspectives and exciting surprises for this year’s competition season.
Similar to the 2025 edition, DIFF 2026 will be held over six competition nights. Fireworks displays will take place at the Han River Port area, while the main grandstand and stage will be located along Tran Hung Dao Street, opposite the fireworks launching site—continuing the familiar and iconic setup of previous DIFF seasons.
With the theme “United Horizons,” DIFF 2026 not only promises spectacular fireworks performances showcasing international excellence, but also tells the story of a new Da Nang expanding its development space, broadening its vision, and strengthening connections with the region and the world. Against the summer sky above the Han River, fireworks will become a powerful symbol of integration, cultural exchange, and Da Nang’s aspiration to reach further—affirming its confidence as a destination entering a new chapter of growth, defined by its distinctive identity and open horizons.
