Sacred Silks: The Essence of Đồng Dương

The workshop begins in the Dong Duong Gallery, where museum specialists will introduce participants to the Dong Duong Buddhist Monastery and the distinctive artistic language of Champa through ancient sculptural artifacts.
Inspired by the faces, eyes, patterns, and gestures carved in stone, participants will translate their observations through silk, cotton, botanical dyes, stencilling, hand embroidery, and scents derived from local plants. No prior experience is required — only curiosity and a willingness to create.
Following the workshop, the works of participants will be brought together by Pham Ngoc Tram into an installation presented in the Dong Duong Gallery.
