On September 17, 2026, Thai Airways, in coordination with HG Aviation (Huong Giang Aviation Services Company Limited), organised the “Connecting Danang to The World 2026” seminar in Da Nang. The event introduced the new air route connecting Da Nang and Bangkok while highlighting expanded opportunities for passengers departing from Da Nang to access Thai Airways’ international destination network.

According to the plan, Thai Airways will officially launch its new Da Nang – Bangkok route on December 1, 2026. The new service will provide passengers with an additional travel option while strengthening connectivity between Da Nang and Bangkok, one of the region’s major aviation hubs.
Through Thai Airways’ extensive network, passengers departing from Da Nang will be able to connect via Bangkok to destinations across Thailand, Asia, Europe and other international markets. In the opposite direction, the new route is also expected to improve international access to Da Nang and Central Viet Nam.
The launch of the Da Nang – Bangkok route marks a further step in strengthening Da Nang’s connectivity with the region and the wider world, while contributing to tourism, trade, cultural exchange and international cooperation between Da Nang, Thailand and key global markets.

Expanding connectivity from Da Nang via Bangkok
The seminar focused on three key areas: connecting Da Nang with Thai Airways’ international route network; attracting more international visitors to Da Nang; and strengthening connectivity between Thailand, Viet Nam and markets further afield.
With the new route, passengers from Da Nang will be able to connect conveniently through Bangkok to a wide range of destinations served by Thai Airways, thereby expanding access to international markets. In particular, Bangkok will provide passengers with additional travel options from Da Nang to India, Europe and other regions.
For inbound travel, the service will enhance accessibility to Da Nang from international markets, supporting efforts to attract visitors and contributing to the development of tourism and services in the city and across Central Viet Nam.
