To protect forest resources, biodiversity and ensure the safety of residents and visitors, the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourism Beaches Management Board advises the public not to register for, purchase or participate in spontaneous or legally unclear trekking and ecotourism tours entering the special-use forest area of Son Tra Peninsula.
Son Tra Peninsula is an area of exceptional value in terms of forest ecosystems, biodiversity and natural landscapes. Visits and tourism activities in this area must therefore comply with applicable regulations in order to protect forest resources and the natural environment.
At present, the Ecotourism, Resort and Recreation Plan for Son Tra Nature Reserve has not yet been approved. Therefore, organizations and individuals that enter the special-use forest area without authorization to organize trekking, sightseeing, experiential activities or wildlife observation are acting in violation of applicable regulations.
Advisory for Residents and Visitors
Residents and visitors are advised not to register for, purchase or participate in spontaneous or legally unclear trekking tours, ecotourism experiences or wildlife observation activities within the special-use forest area of Son Tra Peninsula.
Visitors should also not enter the forest via trails or unofficial paths to participate in activities organized spontaneously by individuals or organizations.
In particular, do not participate in nighttime trekking or wildlife observation activities unless permission has been granted by the competent authorities.
If you become aware of unauthorized tour activities entering the special-use forest area, please report them to the relevant authorities or the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourism Beaches Management Board so that timely inspection, prevention and handling measures can be taken in accordance with regulations.
Advisory for Tourism Service Providers, Organizations and Individuals
Tourism businesses, organizations and individuals are advised not to advertise, offer for sale, organize tours or take visitors into the special-use forest area of Son Tra for tourism activities without permission from the competent authorities.
Unauthorized tourism operations, tour organization or taking visitors into the forest without approval not only pose potential safety risks to visitors but also violate regulations on forest management and protection.
Residents, visitors and tourism service providers are encouraged to act responsibly, choose appropriate tourism activities and comply with regulations when visiting Son Tra Peninsula.
