In 2024, AHT partnered with FPT Software to implement a smart monitoring and operational system incorporating real-time data integration.
Among the notable technologies deployed are:
- Self Check-in Kiosks and Self Bag-drop counters, empowering passengers to manage their procedures independently and efficiently.
- Automated Boarding Gates, which seek to minimize the need for staff intervention.
- AI-powered camera systems designed to monitor passenger density, enabling operational units to manage crowd flow effectively.
- Video call kiosks and multilingual information screens provide passengers with convenient access to essential information.
Notably, with the provision of four automated immigration gates to the Immigration Department – Ministry of Public Security, Da Nang International Airport has distinguished itself as the first airport in Vietnam to achieve complete automation of procedures encompassing check-in, baggage drop, immigration, and boarding.
