From May 22 to 24, 2026, Tam Thanh Beach Square (Quang Phu Ward) will emerge as a vibrant gathering destination for both visitors and locals as the “Sea Flavor” Culinary Festival officially takes place within the framework of the Danang Food Tour Festival 2026. Opening at 7:00 PM on May 22, the event introduces a coastal-inspired cultural, culinary, and entertainment space along the southern shoreline of the city.
More than simply an accompanying activity, the “Sea Flavor” Culinary Festival is regarded as an extended component of the Danang Food Tour Festival 2026 within the city’s tourism development strategy, expanding experiential journeys from the urban center to coastal areas and local communities.

Set within an open seaside setting rich in local identity, the festival offers visitors an immersive exploration of coastal life through flavors, sounds, and the rhythms of fishing villages. Guests will have the opportunity to savor fresh seafood, experience signature Central Vietnamese cuisine, interact with chefs and artisans, and participate directly in traditional handicraft activities such as fishing net weaving, mesh bag making, bamboo root carving, broom crafting, and hand-painted tote bag workshops.

One of the festival’s highlights is the daily themed culinary showcase program held from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM, featuring engaging experiences such as the “Ocean Tuna Feast”, “Wrapped Flavors of the Heritage Region”, and the “Tay Giang Native Chicken and Highland Pork Feast”. Live cooking demonstrations will also introduce Quang region specialties including herring salad, smashed rice crackers, stir-fried baby clams, Que Son cassava noodle soup, Hoi An chicken rice, and sweet corn dessert soup.
Complementing the culinary space, more than 50 OCOP and local specialty booths contribute to vividly recreating the cultural landscape of Central Vietnam’s coastal communities. Traditional folk performances such as Bai Choi singing, together with interactive community activities, transform “Sea Flavor” into not only a destination for gastronomy, but also a vibrant space for cultural connection and authentic local experiences.
