The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026, themed “Da Nang – United Horizons,” will take place from May 30 to July 11, 2026.
According to Plan No. 34/KH-UBND dated January 27, DIFF 2026 will feature six competition nights.
Specifically, Night 1 (May 30), themed “Nature,” will see a competition between Vietnam (Da Nang) and China.
Night 2 (June 6), themed “Heritage,” will feature France competing against Vietnam (Z21 Vina Pyrotech).
Night 3 (June 13), themed “Culture,” will be a face-off between Japan and Italy.
Night 4 (June 20), themed “Creativity,” will showcase a competition between Germany and Macau.
Night 5 (June 27), themed “Vision,” will feature Australia competing against Portugal.

The Grand Finale will take place on July 11, under the theme “Da Nang – United Horizons.”
The fireworks will be launched from the Han River Port area, while the grandstands and main stage will be set up along Tran Hung Dao Street, directly opposite the launch site.
This year’s award structure includes: Runner-up Prize: USD 10,000; Champion Prize: USD 20,000
Additional awards include Most Favorite Team (audience vote), Creativity Award, and Promising Team Award, each valued at USD 5,000. Winning teams will also receive a trophy and an official Certificate from the Organizing Committee.
The Da Nang People’s Committee has requested relevant departments, agencies, units, and local authorities to develop detailed implementation plans for assigned tasks, ensuring progress and effectiveness. Budget estimates must be submitted to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with copies sent to the Department of Finance for consolidation and reporting to competent authorities.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is assigned to take the lead, in coordination with the Office of the People’s Committee, in advising the city leadership on monitoring, inspecting, and supervising implementation. Timely recommendations will be made to adjust or supplement the plan in line with actual conditions during the organization of DIFF 2026.
