On the occasion of the 51st Anniversary of Da Nang Liberation Day, Da Nang Museum will offer free admission as a meaningful invitation for both residents and visitors to reconnect with the city’s historical and cultural values along the Han River.
The program will take place from 08:00 to 17:00 on March 29, 2026 (Sunday) at Da Nang Museum, No. 31 Tran Phu Street, Hai Chau Ward, Da Nang City, and is open to all visitors. In the solemn atmosphere of this historic day, it is an opportunity to share pride, reconnect with urban memories, and experience the remarkable development journey of Da Nang through different periods.

In addition to free admission on March 29, Da Nang Museum will also host a series of interactive experiential activities on March 28–29, 2026, taking place from 08:00–11:30 and 14:00–17:00. Here, visitors can handcraft wooden keychains featuring the national flag and historical symbols, or take part in making coffee and avocado smoothies styled with the iconic red flag and yellow star. Each experience goes beyond simple creativity, offering a gentle way to connect with history, culture, and a sense of national pride.
Within an intimate and inspiring setting, moments of creating a small handmade piece, enjoying a uniquely crafted drink, or capturing simple yet meaningful photos all come together to make the museum visit more complete and memorable.
Da Nang Museum is a representative cultural landmark of the city, developed with a modern exhibition system that harmoniously integrates traditional interpretation methods with advanced technologies. From nearly 27,000 collected documents and artifacts, the museum selects and showcases around 3,000 outstanding items, vividly reflecting the stories of Da Nang’s nature, people, and socio-historical development.
The exhibition space is scientifically arranged across three floors, structured into nine thematic sections, including: an overview of the city, nature and people, urban history, the struggle for national independence, war remnants, integration and development, cultural diversity, and artifact collections. Notably, the application of modern display technologies such as 3D Mapping, interactive 3D, documentary films, and multimedia presentations enhances visitor engagement, offering a more immersive and emotional experience.
More than just a visit, this is a journey of meaningful experiences—where every step connects with memory, and each space tells a story through images, light, and emotion. On this special occasion, visitors are encouraged to explore Da Nang Museum to gain deeper insights into the city’s history, traditions, and identity—fostering greater understanding, pride, and connection with this vibrant destination.
Located at a prime central position with three frontages on Bach Dang, Quang Trung, and Tran Phu streets, and connected to cultural–historical landmarks such as Dien Hai Citadel Square, the General Science Library, and the Han River promenade, Da Nang Museum is not only a place preserving urban memories but also a distinctive cultural destination. It is where the past meets the present, opening a profound journey into the identity and aspirations of Da Nang as it continues to grow within the region and the world.
