Opening Ceremony & Experiential Space – When the Sea Awakens Summer
At 17:00 on April 25, 2026, at East Sea Park, the opening ceremony unfolds like a moment that awakens the season. As the sunset gently touches the ocean surface, the festival space comes alive with music, lights and artistic performances, marking the beginning of a 9-day journey by the sea.
From that moment on, Da Nang’s beaches are no longer just a tranquil backdrop, but a vibrant living space – where every step leads to a new experience. Along East Sea Park and Thanh Khe beach, artistic check-in installations from April 25 to May 3, 2026 create colourful visual touchpoints, where each frame captures a vivid summer moment.
Under the blue sky, from April 25 to May 2, 2026, artistic kites soar high in the sea breeze, carrying colours and movement, inviting visitors to touch freedom and experience a sense of lightness in the vast open sky.
As night falls, from 19:00 to 22:00 daily throughout the programme, music fills the main stage at East Sea Park and My An Beach. In the refreshing sea breeze, every melody feels closer, every moment deeper – where you don’t just listen, but truly feel the rhythm of the coastal city.
New Experiences – Ride the Waves, Reconnect with the Authentic Self
Within this energetic setting, new activities bring exciting touchpoints – where summer is experienced through all senses.
At East Sea Park, from 14:00 to 22:00 daily, from April 25 to May 3, 2026, the Da Nang International Pizza Festival 2026 unfolds as a vibrant culinary space. Amid the aroma of wood-fired ovens and architecture-inspired installations, visitors are not just tasting food, but embarking on a journey where cuisine becomes a cultural bridge connecting Da Nang’s coast with the world.
In the same space, the experience of making ice cream from Vietnamese rice offers a gentle yet meaningful touch. As familiar grains are retold through a new form, visitors do not only taste, but also connect with stories of land, people and enduring authentic values.
On the afternoon of April 30, 2026, from 14:00 to 19:00 at East Sea Park, the beach becomes more dynamic than ever with the Beach Water Fight. Accompanied by music and waves, splashes of water under the sunlight create a lively scene where everyone can immerse, laugh and embrace a true summer – free, vibrant and full of emotion.
A different rhythm of the sea can be felt on May 1, 2026 at Son Tra Peninsula, during Son Tra Walking Day. Each slow step, each deep breath in nature, each small act like picking up litter… together form a journey of return to origin – reconnecting people with nature and themselves.
On April 25, 2026, from 15:00 to 18:00 at the beach in front of East Sea Park, thrilling water sports such as flyboard, jet ski, parasailing, banana boat rides and sailing performances take place, creating powerful movements across the blue sea – where waves are no longer just scenery, but part of the experience itself.

On the morning of April 27, 2026, from 05:00 to 10:00 at the beach in front of East Sea Park, the “Overcoming Summer Waves – Da Nang 2026” Sea Swimming Competition takes place at sunrise. As the sun rises above the horizon, each stroke blends with the rhythm of the waves, creating a special moment – where participants touch the power of the ocean and their own limits.
On April 29 and 30, 2026, at the beach and swimming pool area of East Sea Park, the International Lifeguard Competition presents another perspective of the sea – not only its beauty, but also responsibility, skills and safety, ensuring every journey by the sea is complete.
From April 25 to May 3, 2026, the “Vietnam Flavours” culinary space and beer area at East Sea Park become places where visitors can pause along their journey, savour the taste of the sea, feel the saltiness of the breeze, the sweetness of seafood, and enjoy relaxing moments by the ocean.
On April 26, 2026, from 06:00 to 11:00 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Beach, the activity “Da Nang Beach – Say No to Plastic Waste” offers another kind of connection – a touch of responsibility and environmental awareness, so that visitors not only enjoy but also contribute to preserving the beauty of the sea.
At Ban Co Peak on Son Tra Peninsula, on May 1–2, 2026, the “King of Chess – Quang Land” Chinese Chess Tournament takes place amidst sea breezes and panoramic views, where each move blends with the rhythm of nature, creating a peaceful yet profound experience.
