Following the direction of the City People’s Committee to develop the tourism sector and achieve double-digit growth in 2026, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has collaborated with relevant departments, localities, tourism associations, member chapters, and tourism service businesses to develop, implement, and announce the 2026 Tourism Stimulus Program – “Da Nang – Return to Origin” and the 2026 MICE Tourism Promotion Program – “Da Nang – Elevating the MICE Experience.”

I. 2026 TOURISM STIMULUS PROGRAM – “DA NANG – RETURN TO ORIGIN”
1. Da Nang 2026: Attracting Visitors Through Depth and Authentic Experience
Amid travelers’ growing desire to seek authentic experiences – spaces where they can connect with nature, culture, and genuine emotions – the Da Nang – Return to Origin stimulus program has been designed to offer visitors a deeper and more refined perspective of the city. By engaging all five senses, visitors are guided away from urban hustle to reconnect with the most authentic experiences: from pristine nature and cultural heritage to community life, festivals, cuisine, and local people.



- “Return” represents the journey to regain balance;
- “Origin” affirms the unique, unreplicated beauty of the land and its people;
- “Touch” signifies the direct, unmediated connection between visitors and the destination.
The program runs throughout 2026 with the support of tourism and service enterprises, a diverse ecosystem of products, and a series of national and international cultural, sports, and entertainment events. Its goals are to extend visitor stays, deepen their experiences, and encourage repeat visits.
Recognizing travelers’ increasing concern for safety, the program ensures that authentic experiences are delivered in a safe, friendly, and reliable tourism environment. Each touchpoint in Da Nang is implemented with comprehensive solutions: from tourism environment management and service quality control to rapid support via a 24/7 Visitor Assistance Center and a ready-to-deploy Rapid Response Team.



2. Signature Experience Journeys – Da Nang: Return to Origin
Touching Identity – Where Craft Villages Tell Stories
The “Touching Identity” journey introduces visitors to traditional cultural values through craft village tours and the living heritage craft village map. Visitors can interact directly with artisans, learn about traditional crafts, and discover local cultural stories at notable villages such as Thanh Ha, Kim Bong, Tra Que, Cam Thanh, Triem Tay, Tam Thanh, and Non Nuoc.
Touching Serenity – Where Energy Heals
The “Touching Serenity” journey offers body–mind–spirit care experiences, connecting visitors with natural and spiritual spaces. Healing tours take place at locations such as the Marble Mountains, My Son, Tam Thai Pagoda, and Ban Co Peak, combining meditation, tea appreciation, herbal therapy, trekking, wellness resorts, and peaceful experiences like sunrise and sunset viewing or exploring local life in Hoi An and along the Thu Bon River.
Touching Pristine – Where Nature Connects
The “Touching Pristine” journey immerses visitors in the Central Vietnam forest–sea ecosystem through eco-tourism, trekking, community tourism, and local herbal exploration. Featured destinations include Son Tra Peninsula, Cu Lao Cham Biosphere Reserve, Tay Giang, Hoa Bac, Phu Ninh Lake, Dong Giang Sky Gate, with activities such as SUP paddling on Cu De and Thu Bon rivers, at My Khe Beach, and exploring Ngoc Linh Ginseng regions.
Touching Moments – Where Events Create Memories
Throughout the tourism season, the “Touching Moments” journey offers lively festival atmospheres through cultural, sports, and entertainment events. Promotions, experience tickets, and gifts are provided via OTA platforms and e-commerce channels, complemented by interactive experiences at major city festivals.
Touching Taste – Where Quang Cuisine Awakens the Senses
The “Touching Taste” journey invites visitors to explore Quang cuisine through themed culinary tours, traditional cooking experiences, and interactions with local chefs and artisans. The Quang Culinary Map connects signature food spaces such as Tra Que, Thanh Dong, Cam Thanh, Hoi An Ancient Town, riverside fishing villages, Tam Tien, craft villages producing noodles, rice paper, traditional cakes, and local markets.
Rediscovering Da Nang – I Love Da Nang: Encouraging International Return Visits
This campaign targets international visitors who previously visited Da Nang since 2020, encouraging their return in 2026, particularly from key markets including China, South Korea, Japan, ASEAN countries, and new international flight routes.

3. Gift and Reward System Highlights
In 2026, Da Nang will launch an extensive gift and reward system with over 30,000 free and discounted items ranging from 10% to 60% for visitors. These include accommodation vouchers, attraction and entertainment tickets, culinary and spa offers, and local souvenirs tied to the five touchpoints.
Online lucky draws, spinning wheels, and prize raffles are held via KKday, Klook, Agoda, the Da Nang Tourism Portal, Danangfantasticity fanpage, and on-site events. Content creators participating in any Return to Origin program via the TripC app can receive additional rewards, including:
- Exclusive “Discovered by You” badge
- 25 million VND (approx. USD 1,000) in cash and valuable gifts
- Commission from bookings/services (up to 3 months)
- Ranking enhancement and additional benefits on digital tourism platforms


II. 2026 MICE TOURISM PROMOTION PROGRAM AND MICE TRAVEL OPERATOR RECOGNITION
The Da Nang MICE tourism promotion program, first issued in 2021, has yielded positive results. Building on this success, the city’s tourism sector has refined and added new support measures, particularly recognizing outstanding MICE enterprises with the “MICE – The Rising Wave” award.


The 2026 MICE Promotion Program, themed “Elevating the MICE Experience,” is adjusted for each market: domestic MICE for groups of 70+ participants, and international MICE for groups of 30+. A highlight of the 2026 program is the recognition mechanism for MICE businesses, offering real promotional benefits to enhance brand visibility.



For the first time, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang announced the “MICE – The Rising Wave” award to honor businesses with outstanding contributions to attracting MICE visitors in 2025. Awardees are recognized as “leading waves,” pioneers in market connection, supporting the city’s MICE initiatives, and successfully organizing MICE groups that bring high-quality visitors to Da Nang. The five exemplary businesses honored include:
