MEASURES TO PREVENT COVID-19 IN SELECTED CASES
I. COVID-19 SUSPECTED CASES
1. Use a separate vehicle to travel from airports/ports to accommodations. Do not share vehicles with others to avoid
spreading the infection in case you have COVID-19.
2. Strictly adhere to wearing a MASK and regularly DISINFECTING hands.
3. Limit contact with others.
4. Take a COVID-19 test as soon as you arrive at your accommodation to confirm your status.
II. COVID-19 POSITIVE CASES
1. Quarantine and have no direct contact or unsafe contact with others.
2. Treat COVID-19 at home until you receive a negative COVID-19 test result; strictly follow the regulations for COVID-19 prevention by local health authorities.
3. Contact local health authorities for instructions on how to determine if a patient has recovered from COVID-19, coordinate the monitoring and assessing of health status for consultation, and transfer to medical facilities for further treatment if necessary or in an emergency.
III. COVID-19 NEGATIVE CASES
1. Regularly wear a mask; wash hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer; maintain personal hygiene; and keep the living, working, and studying areas clean.
2. Wear a mask in situations and areas where it is mandatory according to the Guidelines on wearing face masks in public places for COVID-19 prevention in Decision No. 2447/QD-BYT dated September 7 2022 by the Ministry of Health.
3. Regularly monitor your health and contact medical facilities for advice and guidance when having health problems or symptoms of COVID-19 infection.

Situations and areas where wearing masks are mandatory according to the Guidelines on using face masks in public places for COVID-19 prevention in Decision No. 2447/QD-BYT dated September 7 2022 by the Ministry of Health:
a) People with COVID-19, symptoms of acute respiratory infection, , or suspected cases of COVID-19 infection.
b) At medical facilities; medical isolation areas; or accommodations with someone in medical isolation or under medical supervision:
– All patients (except those isolated in single rooms; people with respiratory failure, patients undergoing medical procedures as prescribed by a doctor, or children under 5 years old).
– Medical staff at medical facilities according to the Guidelines on the use of personal protective equipment for COVID-19 prevention at medical facilities in Decision No. 2171/QD-BYT dated August 5, 2022 by the Ministry of Health.
c) When using public transportation (airplane, train, ship, tram, ferry, coach, bus, taxi): applicable to passengers; drivers and people serving on public transportation; and service staff, managers, and workers in direct contact with
passengers at railway stations, bus stations, docks, or waiting areas.
d) At shopping malls, supermarkets, and wholesale markets: applicable to service staff, managers, and workers when in direct contact with customers.
e) In enclosed places with poor ventilation (bars and clubs; karaoke; massage and beauty spas; gyms; restaurants; cinemas, theatres, circuses, gymnasiums): applicable to service staff, salespeople, managers, and workers when in direct contact with customers.
f) At cultural and tourism sites where events are held with a large concentration of people (relic works; museums, libraries, exhibitions, and galleries; tourism areas, amusement and entertainment areas; cultural events, physical training and sports events; weddings, funerals, festivals, or fairs): applicable to service staff, managers, workers, and salespeople when in direct contact with customers and attendees.
g) At places receiving documents: Applicable to staff receiving documents and carrying out some services when in direct contact with customers.
