On 26-4, DHC-Marina Investment Joint Stock Company has started the project Danang Marina & under-water sports at the eastern bank of Han River, An Hai Tay Ward, Son Tra District, 160 meters away from the Dragon Bridge.
The project has a total investment of more than 203 billion expected to officially put into operation on May 4, 2015 and will be the most modern marina in Vietnam.
The total area is more than 56.700m2 with about 700 meters drag along the Han River, including a 85 meters long pier; an area of 110m2 terminal; 5-floor floating yacht with 15.5 meters height and a total construction area of 5.700m2; boat park has an area of more than 2.000m2, which is capable of anchoring 108 yachts with 10.5 to18 meters length, are made of floating structures of the modern Netherlands technology. There will be also icon of Danang yacht – a construction combining architecture and sculpture to create a unique image for the river cruise and sea tourism of the city.
This project aims to develop tourism on yacht combined with under-water sports such as windsurfing, snorkeling, scuba-diving and fishing …; cruises such as tours to the islands, the local neighborhood; hold events on the river and promote activities related to yachting in Vietnam. Besides, the project also come up with restaurants, bars, dance clubs to provide more products and services for both domestic and international tourists.
At the ceremony, DHC Marina and Superior Jetties, a well-known Australian Company specialized in yachting, signed for the collaboration of berths consultancy and river cruises management system.
