Established in 1989, Skytrax is a leading global authority dedicated to evaluating and rating various facets of the air transport industry, including airports, airlines, lounges, and cabin crews. Its evolving rating criteria challenge airports and airlines to innovate and enhance their services consistently.
As of 2025, only 19 airports and 5 terminals globally have achieved the prestigious 5-Star Skytrax Rating. This underscores the exceptional status of Da Nang’s International Terminal T2 as the sole terminal in Vietnam to maintain this honor for two consecutive years. In the 2025 Skytrax ranking of the World’s Top 100 Airports, Da Nang International Airport has made impressive strides, climbing 10 positions to rank 84th, up from 94th in 2024. At Terminal T2, we prioritize creating a safe and welcoming environment for passengers traveling with children. To enhance their experience, the children’s play area has undergone significant upgrades, providing a more inviting space for families during wait times. Understanding the desire of international travelers to connect with local culture from the moment they arrive, we have increased the frequency of our “Heritage Path” cultural performances from four times a week to nightly shows. This initiative allows visitors to enjoy a vibrant introduction to Vietnamese heritage. Additionally, our relaxation zones are thoughtfully decorated and host seasonal activities, such as celebrations for the Mid-Autumn Festival, Halloween, and Christmas, ensuring that every special occasion is memorable for our passengers.
At the same time, Terminal T1 is dedicated to enhancing comfort and convenience. In response to the growing need for rest areas, we have added more seating, expanded regions covered for protection against weather elements, and introduced green relaxation spaces. Our wayfinding systems have been redesigned for improved clarity, making it easier for passengers to navigate the terminal. Furthermore, essential amenities have been upgraded, including free drinking water, charging stations, flight information displays, and information counters, all aimed at providing timely support to meet the diverse needs of our passengers.
