2020 is such a challenging year for the tourism industry of Vietnam in general and in Da Nang in particular. The global epidemics have directly downgraded tourism growth indicators, revenues, leading to a decline in commerce, transport, construction, banking, medical and real estate business, triggering severe consequences for tourist businesses.
In 2021, Da Nang tourism will face difficulties and restart tourism activities to support tourism businesses post crisis; implementing the 2021 theme of the city – “The year of economy recovery and development” and the Politburo’s Resolution 43-NQ / TW dated January 24, 2019: “Boost sustainable tourism development and turn tourism into a leading economic sector, a driving force to endorse socio-economic development towards high-quality tourism and services associated with resort real estate, effective utilize tourism potentials and advantages for further growth ”, meanwhile gradually developing the night economy.
Here are some key events of Da Nang in 2021 * contributing to tourism restart and stimulating tourism demand, specifically domestic market:

1. Events series: Tet Market, Vietnam Currency Exhibition and Flea Market in Danang

2. Fireworks performance this Lunar New Year Festival at midnight of February 11, 2021 (Lunar New Year’s Eve 2021).
