JAPAN-VIET NAM CULTURAL EXCHANGE FESTIVAL 2015

(Festival time: 9am to 10pm everyday)

Venue : Da Nang Administration Center Park

August 28th 2015 (Friday)

09h00 The opening of cultural and cuisine booths and street performances(1)

10h30 – 11h30 Chadou performance by artists from Sakai city (2)

14h30 – 17h00 Workshop on Investment Promotion to Da Nang

16h00 – 17h30 Music performance before the Opening Ceremony(3)

17h30 – 18h00 Opening Ceremony

18h00 – 19h00 Akido and kendo performance

19h30 – 22h00 Performances by students (4)

August 29th 2015 (Saturday)

08h30 Daily booth activities

09h30 – 11h00 Tours to visit Japanese businesses in Da Nang

09h00 – 17h00 First Kendo Competition in Viet Nam – Qualifying round (5)

10h30 – 11h30 Chadou performance by artists from Sakai city (2)

19h30 – 22h00 Performance by Trade Unions of Japanese businesses in Da Nang (6)

August 30th 2015 (Sunday)

09h00 – 17h00 First Kendo Competition in Viet Nam – Finale (5)

09h00 – 16h00 Tour to learn about the relationship between Japan and Viet Nam – “Come and Feel”

19h30 – 22h00 Cultural and music performances (6)

(1)Visitors to the Festival would enjoy a lot of amazing experiences:

– Cultural Area with activites like Yukata Try-on, Cosplay, Kirigami, Origami and other traditional games from both nations.

– Information Area with diversed information on tourism information by JNTO, investment and recruiment information by JBAD

– Cuisine Area with delicious dishes from both nations like: Udon, Chanpon, Ramen, fresh fish, Kasutera, especially Wagyu-Japanese beef served by authetic stores from Nagasaki, Japan.

(2)Chadou performance by artists from Sakai city would be organized 2 times with 100 attendees at Floor 26 Hall, Da Nang Administration Center.

(3)With the participation of:

– Singer Prizmm with modern and fabulous dancing
– Singer Yuji Mori – famous for her Japanese ballad songs
(4)The first performance by students – apart from performance by local students, others would be by:

– Students from Nagasaki
– Otawara musical troops with traditional musical instruments.
– Mitsuke musical troops with Shodo performance and traditional dance Soranbushi

(5)The Competition would be host by the Organizing Committee and the Viet Nam Kendo Club at the Post Stadium (TBC)

(6)Attending the next two performances would be:

– Japanese singers from Tokyo News;
– Otawara musical troops with traditional musical instruments.
– Japanese singers from ASUE;
– Japanese Shodo Artist- Sakamoto Koichi
** Other activities at the Festival would be Cosplay, Manga Mask Drawing, Origami, traditional games of Japan and Viet Nam.
