Under the theme “ALL YOU NEED – Knowledge, Technology, Supply and Connections,” HORECFEX 2026 DANANG – VIETNAM will take place on 20–21 August 2026 at the Ariyana Convention Centre Danang.
Positioned as the Hospitality & Tourism Forum for Technology, Innovation & Procurement, the event will bring together businesses, industry leaders, experts, technology providers and suppliers from Vietnam and abroad. It aims to create a comprehensive platform for sharing knowledge, exploring practical solutions and expanding cooperation across the hospitality and tourism industries.
Technology comes to life at the press conference
The official press conference for HORECFEX 2026 was held on 23 July 2026 at the Ariyana Convention Centre Danang, introducing the event’s key themes, technologies and activities.
Rather than simply displaying new products, the press conference allowed guests and members of the media to experience advanced technologies firsthand.
Rokid smart glasses offered first-person recording, real-time subtitles, multilingual interpretation and interaction with AI platforms such as OpenAI GPT and Google Gemini. These features offer potential applications in guest services, staff training, presentations and multilingual communication.
Meta Quest 3 headsets were also used to provide immersive 360-degree tours of Furama Villas and the Ariyana Convention Centre Danang. Virtual reality and mixed reality solutions can support destination promotion, sales, staff training and site inspections while reducing time and operating costs.
The event also showcased AI-powered robots, including a Unitree robotic dog for security and rescue support, an OrionStar reception robot capable of communicating in more than 30 languages, and a KEENON service robot assisting with food delivery and restaurant operations.
These demonstrations highlighted how technology can move beyond exhibitions and become part of daily hotel, restaurant and tourism operations.

HORECFEX 2026 is built around four key pillars:

The forum will feature more than 40 presentations and panel discussions, bringing together approximately 55 speakers from 20 countries.

Technology
Visitors will discover practical solutions in AI, automation, data management, smart rooms, energy management and sustainable operations.

Nearly 100 exhibitors will present products, equipment and services for hotels, resorts, restaurants and related sectors, including F&B, housekeeping, wellness, interior design, facilities and operational management.

Connections
Business networking and B2B activities will connect investors, operators, experts and suppliers, creating opportunities for direct discussions and long-term cooperation.
Technology supporting people, not replacing them
At the Furama – Ariyana Danang International Tourism Complex, technology has already been integrated into guest services and event operations.
The Ms. Ariyana robot assists with welcome drinks, directions and guest information, while Furama Resort Danang uses AI to create music, visual content and personalized welcome experiences.
These applications demonstrate that technology can improve operational efficiency while allowing hospitality teams to focus on personalized and meaningful service.
