On the morning of December 9, at the 16th meeting of the City People’s Council term IX, delegates agreed to approve 100% free entrance to Marble Mountains and museums in 2021.
Accordingly, from January 1, 2021, the city charges no fee for domestic and foreign tourists visiting Marble Mountains, Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts, Da Nang Museum and Da Nang Museum of Cham sculpture. This is valid till the end of 2021.
The 100% exemption of the entrance fee to Marble Mountains, cultural works and museums aim to raise tourist arrivals, boost socio-economic development, partly shape a package to remain Danang’s brand positioning in the region.
Thereby, this exemption also expects to encourage travel businesses to create package tours to attract tourists to Da Nang along with supporting service, tourism and supporting enterprises to overcome difficulties triggered by Covid-19.
