In alignment with Prime Minister’s Decision No. 19/2020/QD-TTg and to enhance passenger service quality, improve traffic management efficiency, and alleviate congestion, we are pleased to announce that Da Nang International Airport will introduce the Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) system, complemented by cash payment options at the Nguyen Van Linh and Duy Tan toll booths. This initiative will take effect on July 1, 2025.
1. Implementation Objectives
The implementation of the ETC system represents a significant advance in the airport’s ongoing digital transformation initiatives. This system aims to alleviate traffic congestion, reduce CO₂ emissions, and promote greater transparency in toll collection. Additionally, it seeks to provide enhanced convenience for vehicles accessing the airport, especially during the high-peak summer 2025 travel season.
2. Toll Lane Structure
Nguyen Van Linh Toll Station:
- Lanes 1 & 2: Mixed lanes (accepting cash, non-cash, ETC payments)
- Lanes 3 & 4: Dedicated ETC lanes (ETC or non-cash payments only)
Duy Tan Toll Station:
- Lane 5: Mixed lane
- Lanes 6 & 7: Dedicated ETC lanes
3. Payment Methods for ETC Lanes:
- Valid ETC cards (VETC e-Tag or VDTC ePass)
- QR Code (via e-wallets or banking apps)
- Domestic NAPAS cards (contactless payment, no PIN required)
To use ETC lanes, drivers must have a valid ETC tag in their vehicles and ensure that their account balance is sufficient. If the ETC account balance is inadequate, payment can be made using a QR code or a domestic card through POS terminals (no PIN required) located at each exit lane.

Da Nang International Airport encourages taxi associations, passenger transport companies, and travel agencies to take proactive steps to enhance the travel experience:
- Share essential information with all drivers and vehicle owners to ensure everyone is informed and prepared.
- Promote the timely and uniform installation of ETC tags across all fleet vehicles to streamline operations.
- Collaborate with toll collection staff, airport security, and law enforcement at toll stations to uphold safety and ensure smooth traffic flow.
