As one of DANAFF’s flagship programs, Asian Cinema Panorama continues to showcase outstanding films and emerging voices from across the region.
Following the success of its first three editions, DANAFF has significantly expanded its network of partnerships with international film festivals, film organizations, producers, distributors, and filmmakers. As a result, DANAFF IV has received a remarkable increase in high-quality submissions, including numerous films that have chosen the festival for their first international premiere.
The program also reflects fresh cinematic approaches to history, society, and the human experience. A notable trend among many selected works is the way filmmakers engage in a dialogue with history through deeply personal perspectives.
Featuring films that have screened or received awards at prestigious festivals such as Cannes, Busan, Rotterdam, Golden Horse, Moscow, and Tokyo, Asian Cinema Panorama not only presents a compelling portrait of contemporary Asian cinema but also creates a platform for cultural exchange and dialogue on issues of global significance.
