To celebrate and uphold the rich cultural traditions of the Vietnamese Lunar New Year (Tết) within families, clans, and communities while fostering a vibrant and humane cultural atmosphere that showcases the unique identity of the Hoa Vang people, the Hoa Vang District People’s Committee, with the support of the Da Nang City People’s Committee, is proudly organizing the “Tet Festival – Year of the Snake 2025”.

- Rediscover traditional games like Bai Choi singing, lotto games, ring toss, human chess, folk games such as “O An Quan” and stick pushing.

- Enjoy cyclo and flower bike parades, reenactments of traditional Vietnamese family Tet outings, Tet markets, and festive banquets.
- Experience the rich tapestry of traditional performances, including the Co Tu ethnic group’s “Tung Tung Da Da” dance, lion and dragon dances, calligraphy demonstrations, and couplet-writing competitions.
Special activities for schools:
- The “Tết Việt – A Return to Origins” program for preschool, primary, and secondary schools includes Tet fashion shows, folk song performances, and folk painting.
The festival will proudly host a Supply-Demand Connection Conference, igniting a passion for agricultural product consumption in Hoa Vang. Visitors can joyfully shop for Tet necessities, including exquisite OCOP products, delicious processed foods, vibrant textiles, fashion items, essential consumer goods, and beautiful flowers and bonsai.
As they wander through the festival, guests can savor traditional Tet dishes and immerse themselves in thrilling competitions, such as the inspiring “Bánh Chưng Xanh – Tet So Fine, Bonds That Bind” hoặc “Bánh Chưng Xanh – A Tet Divine, Love Redefined” cooking contest, the engaging “Talent Search“, and the captivating “Hoa Vang Show” Episode 2.
