The 2023 Da Nang Beach Tourism Season programme, which has ‘Dance of Blue Sea’ as its theme, officially kicked off on Friday evening.
Held by the Management Board of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourist Beaches from April 28 – May 3, this year’s programme features a wide array of fascinating activities along the Hoang Sa – Vo Nguyen Giap route, on Nguyen Tat Thanh, Pham Van Dong and My An beaches, and in the Son Tra Peninsula.
Included are the Da Nang Colour Race 2023, an art kite flying festival, a sand sculpture contest, spaces for trying specialties and experiencing traditional crafts, a corona show, sports dance performances, the opening of the Hon Sup – Bai Nam – Bai Da – CT15 inland wharf inland route, a photo exhibition ‘Son Tra moments’, the ‘Flying over the silver sea’ paragliding tournament, a chess championship ‘King of Quang’, a painting camp ‘Da Nang – now and then’, and a marine environment festival themed ‘Da Nang sea is always clean and blue’.
Nguyen Duc Vu, Head of the Management Board of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourist Beaches, remarked the annual programme promised new and unique experience for both locals and visitors during the 5-day break for national holidays of April 30 and May 1.
