The fifth competition night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival – DIFF 2026, themed “Vision”, brought the qualifying round to a spectacular close with an impressive showdown between Skylighter Fireworks (Australia) and Macedos Pirotecnia (Portugal). Showcasing two distinct artistic styles, the teams delivered a breathtaking fireworks display along the Han River.
Take a look back at the most memorable moments from DIFF 2026 Night 5, where light, music, and artistry came together to conclude the qualifying round with unforgettable performances.
Making its DIFF debut, Skylighter Fireworks from Australia presented “Beyond the Horizon”, a performance filled with youthful energy and creativity. The Da Nang sky was illuminated by a rich variety of fireworks effects, from crisp five-pointed stars and shimmering green-and-gold palm effects to graceful cascading waterfalls of light. Seamless choreography and refined colour coordination created a dynamic flow of light, delivering one spectacular moment after another.

Meanwhile, Macedos Pirotecnia of Portugal once again demonstrated the excellence of a team with a rich fireworks heritage through its performance “Beyond the Horizon: The Power of Vision”. The Portuguese team impressed audiences with brilliant Titanium Flashes, traditional fireworks effects seamlessly blended with high-precision multi-point firing techniques. The fusion of heritage and innovation resulted in a powerful, emotional performance that captivated spectators along the Han River.
Bringing the DIFF 2026 qualifying round to a close, Australia and Portugal delivered a vibrant night of fireworks, creating unforgettable memories in the skies above Da Nang.
