Rain Situation and Forecast for Da Nang City
1. Rainfall in the Past 24 Hours:
Scattered showers were recorded in several areas across Da Nang City.
2. Heavy Rain Forecast for the Next 24 to 48 Hours:
From the afternoon of November 6 to November 7, moderate to heavy rain is expected in Da Nang City, with some areas experiencing very heavy rainfall and thunderstorms.
- Total rainfall in the lowland and midland communes/wards is expected to range from 100–250 mm, with some places exceeding 300 mm.
- In the southern mountainous areas, rainfall will commonly range from 100–300 mm, with some areas exceeding 400 mm.
- In the northern mountainous areas, rainfall will range from 80–150 mm, with some places exceeding 200 mm.
During thunderstorms, be aware of lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.
Localized intense rainfall may reach over 120 mm within three hours.
3. Warning:
From the night of November 7, heavy rain in Da Nang City is expected to gradually decrease.

Level 1 (Minor Risk).
5. Forecasted Impacts of Heavy Rain:
Residents are advised to be cautious of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas, and urban flooding in low-lying and flood-prone zones.
There is also a risk of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, strong gusts, and whirlwinds during heavy rain events.
