To ensure security, safety and the successful organization of the Opening Ceremony of the Final Round of the People’s Police Sports Festival 2026, Da Nang City Police have announced traffic diversion and regulation measures around East Sea Park and surrounding roads.
Residents and visitors are advised to plan their journeys in advance, choose appropriate routes and follow the instructions of on-site traffic officers to ensure smooth and safe travel.
Application Period
From 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, from 29 July to 1 August 2026.
Roads Where Stopping and Parking Are Prohibited
Time: From 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM, from 29 July to 1 August 2026.
The restrictions apply to:
- Vo Nguyen Giap Street (from Ho Xuan Huong Street to Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Street)
- Vo Van Kiet Street (from Vo Nguyen Giap Street to Ho Nghinh Street)
- Ho Nghinh Street (from Vo Van Kiet Street to Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Street)
- Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Street (from Vo Nguyen Giap Street to Ho Nghinh Street)
- Pham Van Dong Street (from Vo Nguyen Giap Street to Chinh Huu Street)
- Duong Dinh Nghe Street (from Vo Nguyen Giap Street to Chinh Huu Street)
- Connecting roads between Vo Nguyen Giap Street and Ho Nghinh Street (from Vo Van Kiet Street to Tran Dinh Dan Street)
Road Closures
From 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, from 29 July to 1 August 2026
- Vo Nguyen Giap Street (from Vo Van Kiet Street to Tran Dinh Dan Street) will be closed to traffic.
From 25 July to 1 August 2026
- Pham Van Dong Street (from Ho Nghinh Street to Vo Nguyen Giap Street) will be closed to traffic.
One-Way Traffic Arrangement
From 6:00 PM until the end of the programme, from 29 July to 1 August 2026, Ho Nghinh Street will operate as a one-way street in the direction of Vo Van Kiet Street → Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Street.
Remote Traffic Diversion
For passenger coaches with 30 seats or more:
1. From Truong Sa Street (Ngu Hanh Son → An Hai)
- Turn left onto Le Van Hien Street at the Nguyen Duc Thuan – Vo Nguyen Giap intersection.
- Vehicles already within the area must turn left onto Ho Xuan Huong Street or Nguyen Van Thoai Street.
- No vehicles may continue straight towards East Sea Park.
2. From Vo Nguyen Giap Street (Son Tra → An Hai)
- Turn right onto Vuong Thua Vu Street at the Vuong Thua Vu – Vo Nguyen Giap intersection.
- Vehicles may not continue towards East Sea Park.
3. From Pham Van Dong Street (Hai Chau → An Hai)
- At the Chinh Huu – Pham Van Dong intersection, vehicles must turn left, turn right or make a U-turn.
- No vehicles may continue straight towards East Sea Park.
Parking Arrangements
No Parking Area
- Area beside the Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture.
Time: From 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, from 29 July to 1 August 2026.
Designated Parking Areas
- Public Beach No. 1 (in front of Nalod Hotel)
- Area in front of the 4U Biển restaurant complex on Vo Nguyen Giap Street
- Intersection of Vo Van Kiet, Ho Nghinh and Vo Nguyen Giap streets
- Intersection of Vo Van Kiet, Dang Vu Hy, My Khe 3 and My Khe 5 streets
Recommendations for Residents and Visitors
- Plan your travel in advance and choose suitable routes during the event.
- Cooperate with traffic police and other authorities when required.

Important Notice
Da Nang City Police will adjust traffic regulation measures according to actual conditions to minimize congestion and ensure traffic safety throughout the event.
Vehicles displaying official event permits will be allowed to travel under separate traffic arrangements.
