On March 19th, speaking at Gala event to honor typical Da Nang tourism companies 2013 held by Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Anh – Deputy Chairman of Da Nang People’s Committee, has praised all efforts to overcome difficulties and all results of the community of Da Nang tourism companies in 2013.
Deputy Chairman of Da Nang People’s Committee has proposed that in 2014, leaders of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism should advise the city policies, aspirations of tourism companies; at the same time the city has committed to co-operate with the companies, to create favorable conditions and safe travel environment, contributing to make the image of the city’s tourism more attractive for domestic and foreign visitors.
This is the first time Danang city organized the program to honor tourism companies in response to “the Year of Business 2014” launched by the city, at the same time Da Nang city want to encourage tourism companies to contribute more to the city’s tourism industry in 2014. All the companies and individuals rewarded and honored this time are selected by Council of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the city Tourism Association based on criteria such as complying the rules and regulations of the State, haveing revenue and high budget, bringing many domestic and international visitors to Danang, investing to many projects and tourism products, having many active contributions to the development of the tourism industry in 2013.
There are 41 tourism companies and individuals who work in all areas of tourism including tour operators, service providers and transport, tourism destinations, tourism projects, tour guide… to be honored this year. Among them, 15 typical companies and individuals receive Certificate of Merit by Da Nang People’s Committee and 26 typical companies and individuals receive Certificate of Merit by the Director of Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
