Being the first of its kind in Da Nang, Street Music, held by Da Nang Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism is taking place on Bach Dang street twice per month (on Saturday of the 2nd and the 4th week), from March to August, 2016. The program is considered a new tourism product of and the highlight for the most beautiful street in this coastal city.
Street Music taking place on the riverside street Bach Dang attracted a number of tourists and locals. Featuring gentle Vietnamese folk songs and vibrant Flamenco music, the show satisfied appetites of different music lovers.
According to Ho Van Anh, the director of the Da Nang Events and Festivals Organization Centre, each show will feature a specific theme to make up the diversity of the whole program. The stage is changed and redesigned to match different the themes. With the participation of both professional artists and amateurs, Street Music promises to give an exciting and close musical atmosphere.
