July 7, 2024, Sun World Ba Na Hills celebrated a significant milestone by launching its first batch of Sun KraftBeer at the newly opened Bana Brew House.
This brewery has been a vision for Ba Na for a decade, driven by the ambition to craft a signature beer brand that stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the finest beers worldwide. The project officially kicked off in the Summer of 2024 in partnership with BrauKon, a renowned German brewery with over a century of expertise in beer production. Bana Brew House features cutting-edge, fully automated brewing systems, ensuring that each step— from ingredient selection to the final product— adheres to the highest standards.
Camba Bavaria has expertly assembled the brewing formula and team. This German brewery painstakingly sources the finest ingredients from Germany, New Zealand, and the USA. As a result, Sun KraftBeer offers a genuine European beer experience at Ba Na.
The visionary behind Sun KraftBeer is Tim Burkardt, an Australian Brewmaster known as the maestro of exceptional beer brands. After completing an intensive six-year brewing apprenticeship in Germany, he became a certified Brewmaster. His expertise guarantees that every batch of Sun KraftBeer embodies the essence of premium German beer, setting a new benchmark in the market.

The magnificent seven-story brewery accommodates 1,250 guests, with the main tour spanning floors 1-3 to illuminate the intricate beer-making process:
– 1st Floor: Observe the initial and final steps of brewing, from barley grinding to the beer bottling and kegging system.
– 3rd Floor (The Heart of the Brewery): Experience the fermentation and brewing process among 14 massive fermentation tanks, each with 12,000 liters, alongside three state-of-the-art brewing kettles. These gleaming copper tanks symbolize the essence of craftsmanship, ensuring meticulous control over every aspect of production, from transport to installation and operation, instilling confidence in the quality of our beer.
A true highlight is meeting Brewmaster Tim Burkhardt, who shares captivating stories of beer craftsmanship and the brewery’s legendary Bavarian brewing heritage.
Beyond beer, the seven-story brewery’s stunning architecture unites Western and Cham cultures, leaving visitors in awe. On floors 4-6, guests can indulge at Ba Na 1901 Restaurant, where premium dishes perfectly complement their craft beer, offering a complete gastronomic experience that is as unique and exciting as the beer itself, exclusive to Ba Na.
