In celebration of the 96th anniversary of Vietnamese Women’s Day (October 20, 1930 – October 20, 2026) and in support of the “Da Nang Creative Arts Connection 2026” event organized by the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Da Nang Museum, in collaboration with the Da Nang Women Artists Group, is organizing the art exhibition “Colors and Charms of Three Regions” (Duyên Sắc Ba Miền). The exhibition is supported by the Da Nang Union of Literature and Arts Associations.

The exhibition features 43 artworks by 21 female artists from Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City. Through diverse artistic styles, materials, and approaches, the works explore various aspects of life, from nature, people, and memories to personal experiences and reflections. Through colors, lines, and visual expressions, each artist presents a distinctive perspective, contributing to the exhibition’s rich and diverse artistic character.
The title “Colors and Charms of Three Regions” reflects both connection and individuality. “Charms” represents the meaningful encounter of female artists from different cultural regions, each bringing unique creative experiences and backgrounds. “Colors” symbolizes the distinctive artistic identities, personalities, and visual languages of the participating artists. Rather than seeking to establish a unified artistic style, the exhibition creates a space for dialogue among diverse artistic perspectives and experiences.Within the context of contemporary art, the exhibition also highlights the voices of female artists as independent creative individuals. Their experiences in family life, society, and professional careers are transformed into artistic inspiration, resulting in multifaceted expressions of the world and the human experience.

More than a gathering of female artists from Vietnam’s three regions, “Colors and Charms of Three Regions” serves as a dialogue among distinct artistic identities, where individual expressions come together to create a diverse portrait of contemporary artistic life.
