The 20th Vietnam Film Festival
The 20th Vietnam Film Festival will be hosted in Dannag, from 24 to 28/11/2017. The opening and closing ceremonies will be at Trung Vuong Theater.
Apart from workshops and Film Festival Week, there will be outdoor cinema on the Square in front of Trung Vuong Theater. Before each show, there will be a fashion show.
This year, the organizers proposed to add an ASEAN Film Awards, besides the traditional Golden and Silver Lotus. The organizers will invite 3 judges who are the most reputable from outside of the ASEAN region.
According to the rules, each nation in ASEAN will nominate 1 film (80 minutes or above). The film must be produced in 2016 or 2017.
The awards nominated will be : Best Film, Best Film Director, Best Actor and Best Actress.
