Sun World Ba Na Hills enters its largest tulip festival ever, with around one million tulips blooming simultaneously on the mountain summit in celebration of Lunar New Year 2026. The festival runs continuously from February 5 to March 31, spanning two full months—an exceptionally long display period for an outdoor tulip festival in Vietnam.

The largest tulip festival ever, featuring one million blooms in a full spectrum of colors

The Cloud Tulip Festival 2026 impresses not only by its scale but also marks a new chapter in how Ba Na organizes its floral seasons. Instead of being confined to a single zone, this year’s tulips spread across the entire mountaintop. From central flower gardens and grand plazas to walkways and open castle precincts, tulip colors flow seamlessly throughout the landscape—turning the visit into a continuous spring journey among the clouds rather than a series of isolated flower-viewing stops.

Scale and variety are the defining features of this year’s festival. A total of 36 tulip varieties imported directly from the Netherlands have been carefully selected—the largest number of varieties and colorways ever showcased at Ba Na. The palette ranges from classic reds, yellows, and pinks to purples, oranges, and whites, arranged in gentle color transitions across the high-altitude terrain, evoking the timeless elegance of European gardens. Red, yellow, and pink tulips play a dominant role thanks to their strong visual impact and suitability for outdoor display.

Behind the vibrant scenery lies months of meticulous preparation. Every tulip bulb was selected under strict standards for size and quality to ensure high germination rates, accurate coloration, and long-lasting blooms throughout the exhibition period.

One hundred percent of the flowers were cultivated and cared for directly by the staff of Sun World Ba Na Hills over a 60-day process. From bulb treatment and cold storage to potting, growth monitoring, and precise control of blooming schedules, all stages were carried out on site, adapted to the unique climate conditions of Ba Na’s summit.

The year-round cool climate is a key advantage that allows tulips to grow and bloom naturally at Ba Na—something difficult to achieve at many other destinations in Vietnam. Even so, high-altitude cultivation presents its own challenges, including frequent rain, dense fog, and unpredictable weather changes. To ensure synchronized blooming for the Lunar New Year, technical teams closely monitored daily conditions and adjusted care methods flexibly throughout the growing period.

Spanning two months, featuring around one million tulips, showcasing 36 Dutch-imported varieties, and cultivated entirely on site, the Cloud Tulip Festival 2026 at Sun World Ba Na Hills is far more than a seasonal flower display. Interconnected tulip fields form colorful “flower paths in the clouds,” where visitors don’t just stop for photos but truly stroll through a miniature European-inspired spring landscape during the first days of the new year.

From one million blooms to a vibrant spring celebration at Ba Na

From the colorful, love-filled Love in the Sky performances; Solar Warrior with Roman-inspired choreography and powerful malambo drums; saxophone performances in open spaces at the Land of Wonders; to circus acts at the Moon Castle—every time slot offers a different entertainment highlight. Notably, the 18+ cabaret show After Glow has been increased to three performances per day, allowing visitors greater flexibility in planning their experience.
