On May 30, amid the vibrant atmosphere of the opening night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2026), the renowned French bakery brand Eric Kayser officially welcomed its first guests at Sun World Ba Na Hills.

From early morning, the atmosphere at the French Village became more lively than ever. Large numbers of domestic and international visitors, after enjoying the cable car ride and checking in at the iconic Golden Bridge, eagerly gathered in the heart of the French Village to witness the grand opening.

Guests were delighted by the lively yet artistic performances of international dancers in the “Jum Jum Show”, which provided an impressive prelude to the opening ceremony of the second Eric Kayser bakery in Vietnam and the first-ever Maison Kayser bakery at Ba Na Hills.

Located in a prime position within the French Village, the bakery immediately captures attention with a design inspired by the elegance and timeless charm of a classic Parisian bakery. One of its distinctive features is its six open façades, offering panoramic views of surrounding castles, historic churches and romantic French-style architecture.

With a capacity of up to 300 seats, the bakery’s sophisticated interior harmoniously blends with the French Village’s historic ambiance and the cool climate of Ba Na’s mountaintop setting, creating what feels like a genuine “corner of Paris” in central Vietnam.

Stepping inside Eric Kayser, visitors are instantly greeted by the irresistible aroma of freshly baked bread. Here, guests can fully experience the essence of Maison Kayser through the signature products that have earned the brand worldwide recognition.
“I was truly amazed when I arrived at Ba Na Hills. The architecture already feels very much like France, and now there is also an Eric Kayser bakery. Sitting in the cool weather, enjoying a cup of coffee and a crispy croissant that tastes just like home is truly a wonderful and complete experience in Vietnam,” shared Marie Dupont, a visitor from France.

During the opening ceremony, many visitors eagerly sampled Eric Kayser’s signature pastries, including the classic Croissant, known for its golden, flaky exterior and rich buttery layers, and the Pain au Chocolat, featuring freshly baked pastry wrapped around delicate bittersweet chocolate.
“I’m a huge fan of croissants, but the croissants at Eric Kayser Ba Na are truly different. They are not only delicious, with a perfectly crispy crust, but also incredibly soft, chewy and buttery inside—unlike any croissant I’ve had before,” said Hanh Hanh, a visitor from Hanoi.

One of the most distinctive interactive experiences at Maison Kayser Ba Na Hills is the opportunity for guests to personally select their pastries, observe bakers kneading dough, shaping and baking products on-site, and leave their impressions on the bakery’s signature message wall.

To celebrate the opening week from May 30 to June 5, Eric Kayser Ba Na Hills is offering a series of special promotions, including complimentary pastries, drinks or ice cream for bills from VND300,000. In addition, the daily Happy Hour program from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM offers a 30% discount across the menu, promising memorable moments in the romantic setting of the French Village.

“Ba Na Hills is widely known as a ‘miniature French village’ in the heart of Da Nang, where visitors can immerse themselves in European architecture, atmosphere and cultural spirit. To fully recreate the essence of Paris, we believe authentic French culinary experiences are indispensable. That is why we chose to partner with Maison Eric Kayser and bring this iconic French bakery to Ba Na Hills. The opening coinciding with the launch of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2026 makes the occasion even more meaningful, adding to the festive atmosphere and enhancing visitors’ experiences during DIFF 2026,” said Nguyen Lam An, Director of Sun World Ba Na Hills.
