As the Lunar New Year approaches, festivities abound in two of Vietnam’s most alluring destinations, Hoi An and Quy Nhon. Special Tet holiday events are taking place at both Anantara Hoi An Resort and Anantara Quy Nhon Villas to welcome the year of the ox.

Just a few minutes’ walk from the Old Town, Anantara Hoi An is the place to celebrate with friends and family and a host of distinctive culinary events, including a traditional dinner on the first day of Tet at the quintessential Vietnamese riverside restaurant. Characteristic indigenous treats, both savoury and sweet, bring out the essence of this auspicious holiday. Running throughout the holiday season between 10 and 16 February is a decadent afternoon tea at art space with children’s activities including cookie decorating and calligraphy. A fun-filled afternoon costs VND 250,000 per person.
Further down the Vietnamese coast, Anantara Quy Nhon Villas is also preparing to celebrate Tet in style. Kids will have a barrel of fun during Tet with a selection of activities taking place every day between 10 and 16 February. Budding MasterChefs can get messy in the kitchen and learn to make pizzas, cupcakes and traditional Vietnamese summer rolls.
