There are moments that are not only seen, but felt through every sense. Along the Han River, as light begins to touch the water and architectural curves slowly emerge in the night, Da Nang enters a very different summer – where every movement leads the way for emotion. DIFF 2026 does not simply return as a festival; it opens up an immersive space where each moment becomes a point of connection between color, light, and emotions that transcend all boundaries.

For the first time in its history, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival unveils a stage built around a massive mechanical dome system spanning over 40 meters in width and more than 10 meters in height – becoming the central axis of the entire performance space. Inspired by the idea of a “convergence crossroads,” the stage embodies the moment when horizons draw closer, dissolving the boundaries between space, time, and culture, leaving only the intersection of emotions.

The design language unfolds across three spatial layers, with sweeping curves evoking bridges of connection. At the highest level, the illuminated dome expands like a symbol of aspiration. Beneath it, the calm surface of water captures soft reflections of light, creating visual depth and a subtle dialogue between tradition and modernity. Stretching nearly 100 meters in width, the stage is intentionally extended so that every viewpoint—no matter where you stand—offers a complete and immersive experience.

Beyond its scale, DIFF 2026 marks a powerful leap in performance technology. The mechanical dome system consists of five independent yet synchronizable components, allowing the stage to transform in under 70 seconds. High-powered lasers, dynamic lighting, 3D LED matrix systems, and Retro Amber effects no longer function as separate elements but merge into flowing “horizons of light,” where space itself becomes a living entity, moving in rhythm with music and emotion.

Another striking highlight lies in the multi-layered LED screen system—capable not only of displaying but also reflecting and creating depth, like a luminous skin enveloping the entire stage. This interplay of light, motion, and structure creates grand multi-dimensional scenes, where each performance is not just presented, but narrated through space and imagery.

The opening night on May 30, under the theme “Nature,” will set the stage for an emotional dialogue between Team Da Nang and the reigning champions from China. One brings rhythm and identity, the other technique and dramatic intensity—together igniting the first explosive moment of the festival season.

The journey continues through themed nights of “Heritage,” “Culture,” “Creativity,” and “Vision,” each revealing different facets of the world, before culminating in the grand finale on July 11: “Da Nang – United Horizons.” More than a competition between the world’s leading fireworks teams, DIFF 2026 becomes a journey of emotions—where every visitor can find a personal moment to connect.

And when the lights fade from the sky, what remains is not only the brilliance of fireworks, but the feeling of having touched a different Da Nang—where moments do not simply pass, but linger, deep enough to remember, and meaningful enough to return.
