The Hoi An Memories Show is the largest outdoor real-life performance in Vietnam, recreating the history, culture, and identity of Hoi An through a magnificent combination of lighting, music, 3D mapping technology, and more than 500 performers.

Since its debut in 2018, the Hoi An Memories Show has become an unmissable cultural and tourism highlight, praised by both domestic and international visitors as a “symphony of light and emotions” in the heart of the ancient town.
Located on the romantic Hoai River, on the green jewel known as Hoi An Memories Land, the Hoi An Memories Show has become a symbol of both the island itself and Hoi An as a whole. First performed on March 18, 2018, it is recognized as the largest real-life outdoor art performance in the world.

The performance is divided into five acts spanning 60 minutes, with the story narrated by a weaving girl who guides the audience through historical moments and love stories tied to the land of Quang over four centuries ago, showcasing both its prosperity and charm.
The show also highlights the spirit of unity and the admirable patriotism of Princess Huyen Tran, who married King Che Man of Champa for the greater cause. In addition, it portrays the bustling trade activities of the thriving Faifo port and the enduring image of Hoi An—a land that, despite countless ups and downs, has always preserved its peaceful and poetic beauty.
Since January 2025, the Hoi An Memories Show has officially premiered its upgraded version with a multi-million USD investment, marking a breakthrough in both scale and technology. The new edition not only impresses with cutting-edge effects introduced for the first time in Vietnam but also offers a fresh, vivid perspective on the history and culture of Hoi An Ancient Town.

Described as a “symphony of light and emotions,” the show is a fusion of world-class performing arts and profound traditional stories. Audiences are drawn into a journey of discovering Hoi An through elaborate acts that blend laser lights, 3D mapping technology, and vibrant sound effects, creating a lifelike sensation of being immersed in the flow of history.
Not only captivating the eyes, the new version also stirs emotions through humanistic stories of life, love, and aspirations of the people of the ancient town across different eras. This is undoubtedly a unique and unforgettable artistic experience for every visitor to Hoi An.

Advantages | The most affordable ticket, placing you close to the stage, allows you to clearly observe the expressions and movements of nearly 500 performers. If you enjoy direct interaction and don’t mind that your view may occasionally be partially obstructed by stage setups near the front, this is the ideal choice. You’ll be seated near the stage at a reasonable price, with an excellent perspective to follow the performers’ expressions and actions. If proximity, direct engagement, and an immersive front-row experience are your priorities, and slight obstructions don’t bother you, this is the perfect option. | Compared to ECO seats, this category offers a wider viewing angle, allowing you to observe nearly the entire stage along with all performance effects. It is a balanced choice between ticket price and viewing experience. | This is the premium seating category, offering a full, unobstructed view of the entire stage and providing a complete experience of the grandeur of the Hoi An Memories Show from above. Spacious seats with a full canopy ensure comfort in all weather conditions. |
Disadvantages | This area is uncovered, and the view does not encompass the full grandeur of the large stage. | HIGH seats are uncovered, so in cases of rain or strong sunlight, you may be exposed to the elements. Therefore, check the weather forecast before attending or bring a raincoat and hat for preparedness. | This is the highest-priced ticket category, but if you prioritize comfort and a panoramic view, it is entirely worth choosing. |
