Update on the number of cases under suspection of nCov till 8am on 4th Februrary.
– There are 48 negative case of Coronavirus.
– No cases are positive of Coronavirus.
– Currently a lot of patients have been recovering, some cases have mild fever.
37 cases are under outpatient treatment. All is healthy. The actions to prevent the Cornonavirus outbreak has been undertaken.
– With the goal of managing and monitoring subjects at high risk of infection, early detecting cases of acute respiratory infections caused by nCov; promptly handle the epidemic in order to minimize the death, the City People’s Committee issued Decision No. 378/QD-UBND on February 1, 2020 on the establishment of the Steering Committee for prevention of acute respiratory infections caused by new strains of Corona virus in Da Nang city and Decision No. 389/QD-UBND on February 1, 2020 regarding the plan on prevention against acute respiratory infections caused by new strains of Corona virus in Da Nang city.
Supervision and preparation
– On February 3, 2020, the Center for Disease Control of the City monitored 130 aircraft, 06 ships, detected 06 cases of passengers with signs of mild fever which are monitored in the community.
– From February 1 to February 4, District Health Centers conducted spraying of Chloramin B chemical to disinfect the environment to prevent acute respiratory infections caused by new strains of Coronavirus at 533 school buildings, 33 market and 51 other establishments in the city. Today 4th February 2020, there will continue to spray at the remaining school facilities and markets. It is expected that after completing the disinfection spraying work at all schools, spraying will be conducted in crowded public places under the direction of the City People’s Committee.
Isolation, quaratine and treatment
Department of Health planed to collect samples and treatment process as following:
– Lung Hospital at 53 Phuoc Ly, Hoa Minh Ward, Lien Chieu District is the unit to quarantine any case from 16 years old above.
– Danang Hospital at 124 Hai Phong is the unit to collect all samples and treatment of any case positive of Coronavirus from 16 years old above.
– Hospital for Women and Children at 402 Le Van Hien is the unit to collect and all samples and treatment of any case positive of Coronavirus under 16 years old.
Before that, Danang Hospital has established 3 emergent internal-hospital team and 01 emergent external-hospital team for prompt actions.
