Da Nang’s Cầu Vàng (Golden Bridge) has just been ranked 4th among the World’s Top 10 Most Beautiful Bridges by the prestigious UK-based travel magazine Time Out.
This remarkable position places a Vietnamese architectural icon prominently on the global ranking, reaffirming the bridge’s powerful appeal and highlighting Da Nang’s increasingly strong presence on the international tourism map.
The ranking, titled “The World’s Most Beautiful Bridges,” was announced on February 13 to honor structures that represent a harmonious blend of engineering excellence and aesthetic value, while also serving as iconic tourism symbols of their respective countries.
The list was selected by travel experts based on three main criteria: distinctive architectural design, harmony with the surrounding landscape, and impact on international media.

According to Time Out, the Cầu Vàng (Golden Bridge) is regarded as a true “phenomenon” of modern tourism, creating a striking visual spectacle and quickly becoming a global media sensation. Its design as a mountain-top pedestrian walkway—rather than a traditional river-crossing bridge—offers a distinctive experience and contributes to the structure’s unique identity.
Located at Sun World Bà Nà Hills, more than 1,000 meters above sea level, the Golden Bridge stretches approximately 150 meters in length and stands out with its iconic structure supported by two giant stone hands rising from the mountainscape. Since its opening in 2018, the bridge has consistently appeared in international architecture and travel publications, becoming one of Da Nang’s most recognizable symbols.

A global 4th-place ranking is more than just an architectural milestone. It stands as clear evidence of Da Nang’s destination development strategy rooted in creativity and iconic design. From a tourism structure, the Golden Bridge has helped shape the city’s brand as dynamic, modern, and globally influential — where every experience has the potential to become a worldwide impression.
