“Mỹ Sơn – Night of the Legends” is an elaborate outdoor production featuring nearly 100 performers, reenacting the historical flow and spiritual life of the ancient Cham people right at Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary – a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.
Through a contemporary theatrical language blending lighting, sound, music, and visual effects, the program guides audiences across time and space — from the present back to the past — revealing the harmony between Then and Now, and honoring the treasured values preserved in every brick and every relief of the thousand-year holy land.
THE HISTORICAL NARRATIVE UNFOLDED THROUGH THREE CHAPTERS
- Chapter 1: The Valley – A Story of Time
The program opens by guiding the audience into the timeless flow of the ancient tower complex. Light and music blend seamlessly to recreate the beauty and transformation of the Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary through different historical periods.
- Chapter 2: Mỹ Sơn – Night of the Legends
Audiences are transported back in time to the sacred origins where the ancient Cham people entrusted their faith and spirituality to the land and stone. The stage space, intertwined with the ancient architectural blocks, creates a profound symphony of the past.
- Chapter 3: Harmonizing Lights
As modern lighting merges with the iconic red bricks of the ancient towers, the show concludes with a moment of connection between past and present — a gentle reminder of our responsibility to preserve and promote this heritage for future generations.

In celebration of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23, 2025), the Management Board of Mỹ Sơn World Cultural Heritage Site will present a special edition of “Mỹ Sơn – Night of the Legends” on November 21, 2025.
Guests will enjoy free admission from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, along with a series of cultural activities held as part of the Conference of the World Cultural Heritage Club in Vietnam — a rare opportunity to enjoy an extraordinary performance while experiencing the cultural depth of this sacred heritage land.
