Nestled within the lush oasis of Furama Villas Danang – a heritage and culinary resort of distinction, Danaksara has left an unforgettable mark on diners since 2018 with its rich and authentic flavors of Central Vietnamese cuisine. Now, this legendary restaurant is making its grand return on March 21, 2025, with a refreshed look while staying true to its original essence, offering a refined culinary journey where every dish tells a heartfelt story of home-cooked warmth and cherished local flavors.

A Lasting Culinary Impression of Central Vietnam’s Coastal Heritage

Inspired by the ancient name of Danang – “Danak”, combined with “Sara”, a symbol of a graceful and talented woman akin to a princess, Danaksara was established with the mission of preserving and honoring the rich culinary heritage of Danang. Each dish served here is more than just a meal—it carries cultural stories, allowing diners to travel back in time and savor the essence of Central Vietnam’s cuisine.

Set within an inviting ambiance adorned with authentic local architecture, every dish at Danaksara is carefully crafted using the freshest ingredients. However, what truly sets Danaksara apart is not just the premium ingredients but its signature recipes, crafted from nostalgia, love, and deep respect for culinary traditions.

To recreate the authentic taste of home-cooked meals, the entire kitchen team at Danaksara embarked on a journey back to their roots—seeking wisdom from grandmothers and mothers, the true guardians of Central Vietnamese culinary traditions. Through countless trials and refinements, they developed a one-of-a-kind recipe collection—ensuring every dish remains comfortingly familiar yet uniquely unforgettable, a flavor that cannot be found anywhere else.

Here, diners are welcomed back to the warmth of family dining, evoking memories of cherished moments when grandmothers and mothers lovingly prepared meals with the finest local ingredients. Signature dishes include Turmeric-braised fish, Sun-dried anchovies braised with starfruit, Stir-fried snails with banana and tofu, Roasted pork with steamed rice paper, and a variety of traditional soups such as Climbing perch soup with clams, Crab soup with Malabar spinach, Duck embryo soup with squash, and Sweet potato greens cooked with fermented shrimp paste. Guests can also indulge in iconic Central Vietnamese delicacies such as Mi Quang, Bun Bo Hue, Da Nang’s famous Fish Cake Noodles and various fresh salads.
