More than a place to preserve valuable medical heritage, the museum serves as a bridge connecting scientific knowledge, community education, and the broader ecosystem of institutes, universities, hospitals, and research in Da Nang.
Developed as a digital medical museum, it showcases and disseminates the values of medical heritage, knowledge, and humanism in a modern, accessible way. Visitors can explore the evolution of global medicine alongside the history of Vietnamese medicine, while also discovering a dedicated “Future of Medicine” space featuring emerging trends such as artificial intelligence in healthcare, precision medicine, personalized medicine, biotechnology, and big data.
The exhibition space harmoniously combines physical artifacts and digital applications, with 20% of exhibits displayed directly and 80% enhanced through technology. Through virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), 3D simulations, QR codes, and multimedia content, visitors are able to engage with medical knowledge in a vivid, interactive, and easy-to-understand manner.
Beyond exhibition, Phan Chau Trinh University Medical Museum is also a place of inspiration—where each story of medical history and advancement contributes to nurturing ethics, responsibility, and the mission of those in the medical profession.
