Hoi An: first Light festival on Dinh Dau Tet Holiday

The very first time in Hoi An, a Light festival will be organize right in Lunar New Year Dinh Dau, promising a magical atmosphere for all of the old town’s visitors.

After meeting and planning, Hoi An People’s Committee assigned Culture and Sports Center to cooperate with Index- Thailand to organize Light Festival at Hoi An Ancient town during the next Lunar New Year Holiday Dinh Dau.

Hoi An: first Light festival at Dinh Dau Tet Holiday

“Hoi An Light Festival” will be from 27th January to 8th February 2017 (last day of Binh Than Lunar Year to 12th January Dinh Dau Lunar Year). At this festival, there will be 6 heritage locations in Hoi An with light performance: Chua Cau (Pagoda Bridge), An Hoi Bridge, Hoai River, Kazik park, Bach Dang street and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai street. Each show will last from 8 to 10 minutes at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm every night. Joining the festival, visitors can enjoy colorful light performances with images of trees, flowers, heritages and tourism activities, suiting the ancient town atmosphere.
