Following the excitement of the first two competition nights, the third night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026, themed “Culture,” brought audiences on a remarkable emotional journey along the banks of the Han River.
The highly anticipated showdown between Tamaya Kitahara Fireworks (Japan) and Martarello Group S.R.L (Italy) – two leading names in the global fireworks industry – attracted significant attention from both residents and visitors. With the grandstands reaching full capacity, the event once again demonstrated the growing appeal of DIFF 2026 among domestic and international audiences.
Representing Japan, Tamaya Kitahara Fireworks delivered a performance inspired by the spirit of Wabi-sabi, featuring elegant fireworks sequences and a captivating blend of light and music. Songs such as New Genesis, Always With Me, the soundtrack from Ryomaden, Stranger Things, Running Up That Hill, GOLDEN, and the Vietnamese song Những Ngày Trời Bao La helped create an emotional “concert of light” across Da Nang’s night sky.
Meanwhile, Italy’s Martarello Group S.R.L reaffirmed its reputation as one of the world’s most accomplished fireworks teams with its performance “Echoes Becoming Future.” Classical European melodies combined with multilayered, cinematic fireworks effects to create a distinctive artistic journey. Notably, the inclusion of the Vietnamese hit See Tình brought unexpected and emotional moments for the audience.
Beyond the fireworks competition, the third night also served as a vibrant cultural exchange through a series of impressive artistic performances. From the opening act “Hồn Đá” (Soul of Stone) and the beloved Japanese song “Kokoro no Tomo,” to the energetic performance by singer Hoàng Thùy Linh featuring See Tình and Bo Xì Bo, the evening showcased a rich tapestry of cultural colors and artistic expressions.
Take a look back at some of the most memorable moments from the third competition night of DIFF 2026, where culture was brought to life through music, art, and spectacular fireworks illuminating the Han River skyline.
