On the evening of June 17, DIFF 2023, sponsored by Sun Group and accompanied by the Da Nang People’s Committee, continued to explode on the night of the contest with the theme “Conquering dreams”.
In addition to the fully-filled stands, hundreds of thousands of people and tourists gathered at the central roads, along the riverbanks and on bridges over the Han River to witness the eye-catching competition of Australia and Italy.
Team Australia took the audience on a train of emotions. On the vibrant dance music background, the Australian team kept the audience swaying and excited by the perfect combination of music and fireworks.
The “secret weapon” that the Australian team brought this year is the cannon beams with unique, beautiful, and surreal light effects. However, the Australian team’s performance also had moments of silence that moved the audience. To the music of Mad World and Survivor, the team borrowed fireworks to describe the ups and downs of modern Australia: from the catastrophic bushfires of early 2020 to the challenge of disease. Then, the whole DIFF stands cheered as they admired the huge and bursting fireworks from Team Australia.
Meanwhile, the Italian team delivered a more “academic” performance. The Italian team brought to Da Nang a performance called “Ancient space and modern light”, inspired by the artistic masterpiece “Ambiente spaziale a luce nerea” by Italian artist Lucio Fontana.
The audience has been admiring the attractive light language of the Italian team. With their delicate performance technique, the Italian team “painted” immortal symphonies in the sky of Da Nang with light. The delicate and flexible fireworks effects on classic music such as Beethoven’s Symphony “Destiny” make the audience constantly take their eyes off.
The third night of DIFF’s competition was successful on the art stage with unique and attractive performances.
The 4th competition night will be performed on June 24 with the theme “Dance of nature”, with the participation of two teams from Poland and England, and will be broadcast live on Danang TV1, Radio and Television Station. Da Nang TV at 8pm.
